  Please, DO NOT MOVE to this complex! And if you still think about, please read my testimony.
  
  First of all, we don’t need an answer from Lake House apartments. All we want is to register what happened to us to help other people to have the same problem.
  
  My husband and I were looking for a bigger place - 2bed/1bath to move in and in December 2017, after researching, we’ve decided to move to Lake House in February 26.
  I saw the model and absolutely loved it! They said they were renovating all units and that everything would be new: carpet, doors, paint, kitchen cabinets, appliances, etc - except for the bath tub, but they also guaranteed that it would be in perfect conditions.
  We were moving on a Monday, but on Wednesday I went there to check if they had any of our mail and I was told that the apartment would be ready on the 26th around 3pm. Obviously not ideal, since they knew we had only that day to move, but it is what it is. On Friday I got a call saying that the apartment wouldn’t be ready for Monday (!!!!), but only for Wednesday (same week) - let’s keep in mind here that I’ve told them several times that the only day we had to move would be that Monday.
  Well, fortunately they got us another apartment - with an extra bathroom - that was ready. Great, right? That’s what we thought!
  On moving day I went to Lake House to sign the papers, pay our rent and get the key.
  When I got inside the apartment I almost had a heart attack and I started to cry. It wasn’t ANYTHING like the model I was presented to.
  I wish I had pictures to show you all. There was holes on the walls and on the doors - which by they weren’t the same on the model, they just painted the doors white and that was it.
  Kitchen cabinets: beautiful doors, but the inside OLD, YELLOW, DIRTY and with HOLES!!!!
  The floor wasn’t even, the bathtub was disgusting and I wouldn’t get in there even if I was wearing flip flops. Washer and dryer were old and, again, dirty!!!
  The only thing that was the same was the color on the walls and the kitchen appliances (the only new thing there).
  When I asked Coordination and management about the full renovation and to explain why it was completely different from the model the answer I got was: the previous owner was changing everything but the new one wanted to save money. Awesome, isn’t it? You see a product (model) and get very excited about it, but when you get there it’s a complete nightmare.
  They wanted us to right down everything we needed to be fixed so they could take care of it. Guess what? They would have to renovate the whole thing again.
  At the end we did not move to Lake House (thank God!!!).
  
  My suggestion for Lake House management/owner: keep your word and provide the same expect product you advertised.
